After almost three months of back and forth, we finally closed on our homestead! We’re beyond excited to start this new adventure. We've already kicked things off by finishing the duck house and makeshift pond, and our ducks and geese are absolutely loving it.
Today’s a big day: we're welcoming two baby goats and four chickens to our growing family. The chicken coop is almost ready, and we should have it done in time for their arrival. As for the goats, they might stay inside for a bit until their stable is complete – the fencing is done, but we still need to build the stable. We've got all the tools; we just need to find the time.
In the meantime, we’re busy unpacking boxes and adding the finishing touches to everything. We’ll keep you updated as we go!
