After closing, things went from zero to sixty real quick! We moved everything out of the old house and into the new one—easy, right? Ha! That took a month of playing furniture Tetris and discovering that, yes, we do indeed own that many mismatched coffee mugs.
Next up: fencing the entire property. Why, you ask? So the animals could frolic like they’re starring in an indie farm movie during the day and be safely tucked in at night. Plus, we ended up with not one, not two, but THREE yards—front yard, backyard, and... BACK-back yard. This setup lets us keep things organized: family stays in one part, the dogs run their own turf, and the business is all in the back. It’s like a mullet—but make it real estate.
And then came the enclosures for the chickens, ducks, geese, goats, and quail. Basically, the world's weirdest Airbnb setup. That was another month of mastering the fine art of chicken wire origami.
But here we are! All moved in and fenced up. If you’re not following us on Facebook, Insta, or TikTok, you’re missing out. We’ve got plenty of updates, plus pics and vids of the homestead that'll make you wanna quit city life immediately. Come join the fun!
