Six months ago, we embarked on a journey—one filled with anticipation, early morning chores, and more than a few learning curves. Today, we’re excited to share a huge milestone: we’ve officially sold our first dozen eggs!
It might seem like a small step, but to us, it represents the hard work, patience, and love we’ve poured into raising our flock. From tiny chicks to full-grown, egg-laying hens, it has been incredible to watch the process unfold.
Raising chickens isn’t just about waiting for them to start laying. It’s about ensuring they have the right diet, a safe and comfortable coop, and a stress-free environment. The past six months have taught us that happy hens lay the best eggs. And let’s be honest—there’s something truly rewarding about gathering fresh eggs straight from the nesting boxes each morning.
Selling our first dozen wasn’t just about the transaction—it was a moment of pride. Someone was willing to pay for something we worked hard to produce. And the best part? Knowing they’d enjoy farm-fresh eggs straight from our homestead, just as we have done.
